I won an award yesterday! From a scrapbooker/blogger in the Netherlands, she gave me this award they are sending out mostly in the Netherlands, and she kindly sent it to me. Thanks so much Scrapoholic-you're the best!
And I'm loving the new scrapbook kits I got from The Dozens and Sweet Spuds. I was planning on going to bed early after our "adios and farewell" work party the night before last (see last picture below...), but these are too good to leave alone by their lonesomes, so I stayed up too late again fooling around, and here's my layouts, this one using the Dozens (and some autumn extras I had.)
My Pumpkins
This one is for a challenge on Catagory Stories, another rad scrapbook site. The theme is anything phones. I used an old vintage (not Anne Taintor, but almost as funny) ad. So true...
They keep getting in
I have a real problem with Polaroids and am soooo bummed they are discontinuing them. If you have a pack lying around, send them my way, k people? I even joined the Flickr group Save Polaroid which is a pretty fanciful idea if I do say so myself because the company was bought up and then dissolved, but we polaroidians can dream! I also used my new Sweet Spuds kit (awesome!) and did the challenge on the Creative Type. This challenge was to use paint to paint your lettering. I did mine on of course Polaroids and added a couple of them to the lo.
I LOVE Polaroids!
At Patty Wacks bar on South street in Philly, Dave in the back with fellow co-workers, the 3 muscle suits are jokes about Dave and his compulsivity to exercise and the Hombre fellow, well, because it was an "adios party" for us moving to Mexico. Hilarious...
Have a good Turkey day ya all!
