Even though it just passed, in the romantic spirit of Valentine's Day Category Stories has up a new prompt. The theme is accordingly "date night" and you should see all the super fab projects we did. Come play along, there's some yummy prizes to be won! I also wanted to let you all know that Category Stories has decided to try a twice a month prompt, since so many of us want to keep the creative juices flowing. It gives us something to shoot for and in a supportive, fun community of fellow crafters. Feel free to do each prompt and play along, make new friends and win some fun prizes!
and El Vez, my sweet, sweet El Vez...yummy Mexican food, delish cocktails, fun atmosphere-and best of all, an old-fashioned photobooth-hooray! Heaven...
Cricket made these last night for her dear ol' parents...so cute, huh?
And I'm taking the Red Velvet Girls class, there are a couple projects a week. With everything going on I probably won't finish half of them, but I'll have the rest of them to do while we're in Mexico as well as looking at everyone else's pictures online will be inspiring!
Here's project #1, a rainbow scrapbook with fun felt strips and cardstock inside. I LOVE felt! My oldest sewed along the edges for me yesterday in her sewing class. Thanks Cricket!
and lastly, I've had quite a few people in the last couple months email me directly about things on my blog...they say they don't know how to leave a comment on the blog...well, right below any "post" or story there is a set of computer lingo stuff like "posted on________, permalink and then the word comments (#), then backtrack (whatever that is...). Just CLICK on the word COMMENTS, a little box will pop up, you type away. Click submit, then a verification code will pop up, type it in, hit submit. It's seriously that easy people! Now stop being so stinkin' coy with me...say hi!
