Seven years ago I entered the hospital on Labor Day, in labor. The nurses loved to point that out, "Hey Mom! You're in labor on Labor Day!" with big grins. Ha! I laughed, laughed and laughed...(not really.) But little sis' delivery was a snap I must say, I've had workouts harder. And just like my pregnancy and delivery with her, such a breeze, she is like that today, a breeze of fresh air and a radiating sunshine that makes people who sit with her feel the innocence, kindness and generosity that is little Coco's true spirit. She makes me laugh everyday. She's a riot. The things that come out of her mouth are made for a larger audience. She is goofy and yet witty, she belongs under the big top or on stage. She makes me think everyday. For all the innocence she possesses, she equally possesses great insights for her young age. She makes me proud everyday, she's probably one of the kindest people I've ever met.
We baked cookies for breakfast in her new handmade apron...then we went to the movies and saw the new Tinkerbelle movie and walked through the Aviary in Polanco...
Then we had a BBQ with friends to celebrate her lucky number 7...she dressed in her best Princess costume...
And ended the night with the tradition of reading "On The Day You Were Born",,, I bawl, they laugh.
Next week is the party with her girl classmates at a ceramics studio, the theme is " girls who love rainbows" she said when we picked out her plates and favor bags...pictures to follow later.
Happy birthday little one, we love you more than you'll ever know!!!
